This type of art became especially popular during the Second World War, when Americans with these beauties on display fought for democracy, defending the values of freedom and independence. The girl’s body is covered with Yakuza tattoos – famous warriors of 18th century Japan who had their own code of honor and positioned themselves as the heirs of the samurai. Later, the Yakuza became a real phenomenon of the Japanese mafia and the criminal world, and tattoos on the body meant belonging to the clan. The image and meaning of the tattoos of each representative were individual, according to the path taken as part of the clan group.
