M-Tac Division fleece jacket is equally perfect for cool and cold weather. For the former, you can use it as an outer layer, for the latter – as insulation under a jacket or parka. Made of 100% polyester. The structure of the WindBlock membrane is designed for conditions of low and extremely low temperatures in such a way that 80% of body heat is reflected back and only 20% is lost through the membrane. Most of the modern membrane fabrics with surface application of polyurethane are not intended for extremely low temperatures due to the fact that polyurethane hardens at low temperatures, and this further leads to hardening of the fabric as a whole. The consequence of this is a characteristic „rustling” when moving. The WindBlock thermal fabric does not use polyurethane to protect the membrane, but a dense polyester-structured pile protects it from the effects of low temperatures, abrasion (inside and outside) and creates an additional insulating air layer. Such a three-layer structure completely eliminates the „rustling” effect of the fabric. It has nylon fabric reinforcements on the elbows. Fastens with a zipper and is equipped with many pockets. On the sleeves, the manufacturer added Velcro panels for attaching ID patches. On the back there is a rear cargo pocket in which you can transport gloves and other useful small items.
