The foundation of any great jacket is quality material. The SQUALL jacket is made from a trilaminate consisting of durable nylon Hardshell on the outer layer, a microporous polyurethane membrane in the middle, and a soft nylon inner lining. The membrane pores are small enough to prevent water penetration while allowing moisture to escape, achieving excellent breathability of 30,000 g/m2/24h. This, coupled with a water column of 30,000 mm, creates an ideal combination for demanding outdoor conditions. To enhance water resistance, the jacket features taped seams and premium YKK(R) AquaGuard(R) waterproof zippers. Its outer layer is treated with a non-toxic DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, free from harmful PFC (perfluorocarbon) materials.
The jacket closes with a two-way central zipper ending with a collar with a throat guard and Prym snap closure, allowing even those with longer beards to avoid uncomfortable neck closure.
